Do you find the charges HIGH? I have been in this
business for many years & have positive ongoing relationships with my buyers for
more than 5 years.
I believe that because of following reasons people bid/charge lesser:
1. Service provider at elance or any similar market place bid low to grab the
work & that ask for raise in couple of months. This time it may force buyer to
pay more or buyer may require to post new project & find out new service
provider.
2. Service provider bid less per hour charges but count the timing dishonestly.
The buyer is at loss in such case also.
3. Service provider bid less because they are new to elance or any other
marketplace( & sometimes incometible to the business they are bidding for). When they get some work & some review they ask for raise. Also in
this case, it may force buyer to pay more or buyer may require to post new
project & find out new service provider.
so, I believe the fair charges are must for the project to continue positively
over the long time.
